It’s mid April and spring has finally arrived. I came out this morning to check in at the garden in Park Heights to find that one of my fellow beekeepers new hives are doing well.
The recent change in weather and blooms are out!

Do you ever have bears in your area? We have at least one, but I think it’s the same one who learned about electric fences last year. I can think of no other reason the hives would have remained untouched when the fence was down for a week!
We are in the middle of the City but we do have deer. That is crazy 😜
